This web site was designed to provide information to our members, public safety agencies, and for every citizen that would have interest  in being part of the Kentucky Search Dog Association.

This web site has the information on how to activate the team for a mission, become a member, or if you want donate to the team.  KYSDA is a non-profit organization so everything received is appreciated!


                                                          Mission Statement


The Kentucky Search Dog Association shall function as a Specialized Rescue Squad as defined in the Kentucky Revised Statues and shall meet the standards set forth by the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management.  The Kentucky Search Dog Association shall meet the Standards for search utilizing dogs and water rescue and recovery set forth by the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management.  The Kentucky Search Dog Association has volunteer members who have attained Operational status under specific training and testing procedures.  It is the purpose of this organization to provide trained dogs, handlers, and support personnel to assist in searching for missing, lost or overdue persons.
